I have recently been using this serum in my post-cleansing routine courtesy of Shiseido and Klout. For those not familiar, Shiseido is a Japanese skincare company and one of the oldest cosmetics companies in the world at over 140 years! Shiseido is also the parent company behind other favorites of mine such as NARS.
The product: Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate, a skin improving serum to be applied morning and evening every day.
When Klout offered me the opportunity to try something from Shiseido that might improve my skin texture, I had to take it! Recent travel between the dry warmth in Arizona and the humid cold of Texas meant my skin would be crankier than usual. Events with professional makeup typically provide an additional challenge since my face rebels after those with lovely clogged pores. All this provided a tough reading ground for the product. I kept everything else in my routine the same.
Several days into travel, I had yet to hit my first travel breakouts. The clean fresh scent and cooking gel made it a great calming adder to my cleansing routine.
Almost a week after returning, my skin looks better! More importantly for me, it FEELS better. I’ve never been able to run the back of my hand over my cheek without noticing textural issues or a breakout. Today, SMOOTHNESS. Definitely makes me a happy camper, and less self conscious if I haven’t put on makeup yet!
